Matthew was born in Texas but only lived there for the first 8 months of his life. He grew up in Mesa and stayed there until he was 20. After a few apartment adventures, he bought his first house in Queen Creek at 24. A few years later, he married his wife, and they decided this was the perfect place to raise a family.
Matthew has been in the plumbing industry for about 10 years. His goal at work is simple: get the job done right, keep things clean, and make sure every customer is happy with the work that he does.

I am an Arizona native! I started my plumbing career at the age of 18 and have proudly been serving homeowners throughout the Valley for over 16 years. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and solving problems, which is what drew me to the plumbing trade. I’m married and the proud father of four amazing kids who keep life busy and fun. When I’m not on the job, you’ll usually find me camping, hunting, fishing, or riding anything with wheels and an engine. I love spending time outdoors with my family and making the most of Arizona’s beautiful weather. Ashlynn is a key part of the
Steadfast Plumbing & Water Treatment team, handling HR, accounting, and many of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities that keep the company running smoothly. She has been married to her husband, Spencer (owner of Steadfast Plumbing & Water Treatment), for nearly 12 years and plays an essential role in supporting both the business and the team. In her role, Ashlynn manages the background details that allow day-to-day operations to function efficiently. From organization and administrative tasks to handling whatever random needs come up, she is always ready to jump in where help is needed. Outside of work, Ashlynn enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with her family. Her goal as part of the Steadfast Plumbing & Water Treatment team is to help things run smoothly wherever she’s needed, ensuring the business continues to operate with consistency, care, and support for both employees and customers.
Erica Elwell
Born and raised in Arizona, Erica is a proud Queen Creek resident who understands the importance of strong community connections. She brings a steady, organized, and positive presence to the office and truly cares about taking excellent care of every customer. Outside of work, Erica is a busy mom to two teenage boys and three dogs. When she’s not managing operations, her favorite hobbies include drinking coffee and tackling endless loads of laundry. Erica Elwell serves as the Operations Manager at Steadfast Plumbing & Water Treatment, where she plays a vital role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. From answering calls and supporting customers to handling a wide variety of behind-the-scenes tasks, Erica has jumped right in and quickly made a positive impact on both our team and the customers we serve.
We’re excited to officially introduce the newest member of the Steadfast Plumbing & Water Treatment family… our mascot, Roger! Roger isn’t just a name to us—it means a whole lot more. He’s named after Spencer(our owner’s) grandfather, who went home to Jesus in 2016. He was one of the hardest working men you could ever meet, someone who truly believed in doing things the right way and taking pride in his work. He spent his time between Minnesota and Arizona, even working down at a pecan farm in Coolidge during the winters. That same work ethic and dedication is exactly what we strive to bring to every home we serve. Choosing the name Roger is our way of honoring him and reminding ourselves—and our customers—that family is at the heart of everything we do. So if you see Roger out and about, just know he represents hard work, honesty, and the Steadfast way of doing things.
